Anonymous from France I play didgeridoo during my yoga course. So I share this vibration feeling with many people. The trainers so invite me to do yoga too.
Alexander Lavrishchev from Russia I just want to start to use my didj for meditation.
Anandini from USA It is a practice that I use to help myself stay calmer and more centered. I have a very fiery body type and can get to strung out very easily. Playing gives me a deep earthy connection that is very balancing for me.
Andrew King from Australia I basically like to just get a continuous mellow drone going until I reach a heightened awareness state and my eyes see things a lot clearer. Then the different sounds just seem to come and go and flow with the drone sub consciously
Andy from United Kingdom Calm down & relieve the day's stress.
Angie from USA I meditate by just playing from the heart. Following the moment and playing freely what rhythm and song I hear in my mind when I am in that zone/space. I do always have a intention of Universal Peace or focusing on a particular energy I offer as a prayer.
Anthony Kubiak from USA I love to play long drones and rhythmic styles. Both bring on trance states for me--my skull vibrates. I love it.
Antonio Mara from Italy The didj is perfect when I'm stressed or I have some problem.
Anonymous from Australia It is a natural instrument for your own meditation. You cannot play more than 15 minutes without escaping anyway.
Audrey from USA The didj makes time pass very quickly...almost as if it compresses it.
Anonymous from USA Sometimes I use the didge as a way to "om" so it helps with meditation.
Anonymous After playing 15 minutes or so it is like meditation.
Betsy Sauther from USA I have played for people who were in a sauna sitting outside. I have played for circles and ceremonies and it adds so much to the energy and assists in trances.
Billy from Brazil Yes I smoke Mary and Play my Didge.
Brad Cole from USA At first I didn't understand exactly what was happening.but when I would play for an extended period a wave of euphoria would wash over me. I was completely sober and then BANG totally extatic. Since then I have learned a bit about the science behind what is happening.it would appear that the vibrations are causing brain wave entrainment. Taking me from an ordinary state to a non-ordinary state of consciousness. A state where transcendence can be found
Brendan Moloney from Spain I am a very hyperactive person and there is nothing more I like to do than play my Didgeridoo when I get home from work and it brings me to a completely different level. Its like it balances my state of feeling.
Anonymous from USA I'm sure that once I get a didj that I will be able to share an experience with you.

Dana from USA If I had that would be my 1st lesson.
Daniel Allison from United Kingdom I haven't got to that level yet but have experienced dreamtime journeys with nature spirits listening to a didge meditation cd.
Dave from Canada I am a Christian but I think it is important to incorporate the music and of other cultures in worship. Furthermore I think it important to incorporate other cultures' ways of understanding the world in the areas that they can add to my own without contradicting my own beliefs. We are all created by the same God. I am interested in learning more about Aborigine spirituality even if I don't accept all of their beliefs for myself. I play my didge on equinoxes and solstices in order to make a point of recognizing and being aware of seasonal changes and the beauty of creation. (I also play for fun at other time obviously).
Denny Simpson from USA Use to come down after stressful day.
Dominic from USA In the summer I often go to a park and find a quite spot under a tree and just play. It’s my ZEN. Living in New York City and doing the “GRIND” every day wears at you so it’s a great thing to be able to just unplug with my didge and find my self again.
Donat from Belgium I haven't been scheduling time for didgeridoo meditation recently. You now made me think about doing just that.
Anonymous When I learn to play..it will be for meditation and healing.
Ed from USA The guy in the last answer did a meditation
Eddie Daughton from United Kingdom It takes me to a place where the world hangs suspended a timeless time where I hear the songs of humanity echo down the ages... It takes me back to a point before the world was born....
Elisa from USA The first time I tried to play a didj was the first time I found myself in a thought-free ultimate peace state of mind. It was really awkward at first and I made a bass line but what really made me hold a note and play with its sound waves was when my friend said "I believe in you concentrate on what your doing" when I heard that I played the didj and impressed my friends.
Emmanuelle from France Meditation and relaxation
Erik from USA I use it to start a meditation; it gets me very very relaxed.

Anonymous from USA Not really but interested in this...
Gerard Tegenbosch from Netherlands What comes out goes in as well I often use the didj to balance myself
Grant from Australia To play from ur heart u have to be in ur heart and that means ur mind can't be thinking of anything else. So when u lips hit that Yidaki and you close your eyes its time to let go!
Anonymous Interested but have no experiences of such

Jan Stanek from Czech Republic Pleasantly soothing sound that I get to another level and mood
Jan from Netherlands I use didge for self meditation.
Jared from USA Intimate moments are difficult to share
Jason Aken from USA Whenever I am stressed out from whatever problems life throws at me an hour with the didge is enough to help me gain a little perspective on the grand scheme of life.
Jason from USA It increases my breathing consciousness and helps me focus.
Jay from USA My understanding of the goal of meditation is to just be present in the moment: when I close my eyes and play the didj I sometimes achieve that state. Not always but sometimes.

Anonymous from Canada I use my didge for meditation. But it is somewhat informal. I generally find a nice place in nature especially by the ocean. When I'm ready and I've been playing good I go alone to far away places on Vancouver Island by the Pacific Ocean but I've also gone to many deserts in America and camp there many days and I play a lot and always try to find new sounds and new spaces within the didge and within my self.
Jon-eric from USA I endeavour to play for groups while they meditate
Jonathan Coote from Canada Sometimes I come home and am tired of noise of the busy day tired of people around me and just want to chill a bit. So I light my zen candle and turn on the Feng Shui fountain and just sit with lights out and play whatever comes out smoothly and quietly.
Anonymous To me all music is meditation in a sense and this is no different in that respect. Meditation is a means of focusing the mind and whether listening or playing music is a great tool for this. I don't use it specifically to meditate though I find playing quite meditative if that makes any sense....:-)
Jonathan Turton from USA As of right now the didj is to go into a trance of breathing to help and relax to get the scattered thinking of my mind on the right track.
Joseph from USA Music is a meditation for me
Joshua from Canada I've used my Didj in a Celtic sweat lodge during a new years celebration that my girlfriend planed and gathered many people to attend the sweat

Kate from USA I have been working at a summer camp for the past 7 years and last summer I started playing a friends didj for the campers to help them start to calm down at night. It was sort of like our bedtime story.

Matti Virtanen from Finland I'm in the process of learning. I've managed to attune my mind to the music and I'm progressing. I'm searching for a new authentic instrument to proceed in this goal. Ossi from Finland I'm not sure if "meditation" is the right word but yes often times I use didj for "spiritual" or supra-rational purposes. The details vary and are somewhat too personal to hand out here.
Patrick Bodine from USA I participate (to the best of my abilities) in the solstice worldwide didge events regularly.
Anonymous from USA I am inspired to find other means of meditation and this is a wonderful part of my journey

Peter Richards from USA I just close by eyes and let it flow
Phil Kotofskie from USA As long as I pay attention to what all my senses experience the didjing is effortless and I feel fantastic both during and after didging. If I become too concerned about how well I'm playing I don't relax as much and my playing suffers.
Reg from Australia I have not tried this as such but I have my didj in a corer next to my chair in the lounge. I often come in and grab it and have a blow to relax from the day. More a case of just having fun trying to get better sounds and breathe better.
Renaud from China (pr) This is a practice through harmonics naps. The aim is to get relax and let de sound go by itself. I used to play with 2 other friends in the same key to create a big phase. I consider the nap as a good was to make improvisation in a relaxing form. While playing naps breathing can superimpose new sounds and the song can evolve freely during a long time.
Rex Womack from USA Have played for myself and for others in various settings. Such as church yoga classes and movement meditations.
Anonymous Only have done once just using a constant do do dah rhythm focusing on keeping my mind clear and relaxing my body so its just me and and the drone. it didn't last long but I must do it again soon.
Rik Van Luijn from Netherlands I always find that playing my didj grounds me and the people around me. Especially when I'm a bit stressed out or I'm to much "in my head" and thinking to much or feeling uncomfortable. playing the didj or just listening to it brings me back to center. I have had experiences playing the didj and I'm playing the same rhythm over and over again where I sort of merge with the drone and physical reality seems to disappear (I don't often tell people that)
Robert from USA I am a 100% disabled viet nam vet with Chronic PTSD it helps me to maintain a level emotional outlook. I control anger and anxiety well with this it also allows me to examine my inner self when I am attempting to play it.
Robert Quintarelli from Australia I was playing in a band in spain which I was living there for 18 years until last month I was on the didge we had synthesizer sounds from the dj flute voice and cajon(spanish instrument) and contemporary dance unbelievable there was a moment that while I was playing(i play with my eyes close) I could basically see my arms legs like..digital its hard to explain I think I was in another world for 10 min - we were in a art gallery that's where we rehearse and I don't know there was just a huge ball of energy it was amazing - I just find it difficult to explain sorry.

Roel from Belgium We tend to sit round a fire with a group of friends and just play for hours into the night. We once played an entire weekend. No talking just playing! Roger from USA Yes on a high plateau in New Mexico
Rolando Rojas from Chile I play the Didgeridoo for meditation because it has the effect to produce some kind of peace mind effect I think it has to be with the repetitions and the frequency of the sounds.
Ros from Australia I would if I could get the circular breathing.......
Ruslans Rubcena from Ireland I can't play yet so good for meditation. I can't relax yet.
Ryan Deirmendjian from USA Soooo miiindd clearing (my friend has one he bought from Australia and I learned to play on it...tuned to F#) I practically want to steal it from him..

Shane Dye from USA If going out onto the beach counts then yes I usually play out on the beach once a week for 2 hours
Stephen Jones from USA After securing my circular breathing I was able to go to out to a local park that basically has a concrete band shell. It is almost completely secluded and the concrete makes for great resonance. I brought along some incense and played for almost half an hour straight. Very mentally reviving experience.
Stephen from USA Am purchasing a high quality didgeridoo from your organization so that I can utilize it for meditation
Stephen from USA Ineffable.

Todd from USA In the past I found it to help clear my mind and release tension in my body.
Tom from USA For meditation I play anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour and a half. I find that more enjoyable than regular meditation as there is an ongoing focus. The key of my genuine didge is low A so it has a deep sonority that is soothing and spacey. I chant and sing as I play which adds interest as well as the devotional aspect. I can become interdimensional in such times.
Tony from Australia I don't deliberately do this but if I play for 30 mins or more I find that I become more in tune with the instrument almost a part of it and really relax.
Veronique from France I have no didj but I play my Indian flute and it is good
Anonymous from USA I use it in yoga satsang both for meditation & healing.
Willy Brandt from Belgium Against stress
Anonymous from Canada Every time that I am upset or that I see black it's because I've haven't played didj for too long. Every time I play it is a meditation my thoughts become clear and everything seems so evident. I recover my inner peace every time my lips touch the instrument when I get surrounded by the magic vibe.
Zach from USA Often times with school and work and sports I get caught up in all the stress and hectic of daily life. To help relieve the stress I just like to lay back and relax to the sounds of my didgeridoo. It really does help me to break away from life's craziness
Zachary Heidemann &/or Ryan &/or Arrildt from USA This is probably one of the greatest meditative experiences on the face of the planet. circular breathing on the didj alone is enough however it may also be enhanced in a meditative circle passing various materials that you may inhale then exhale through the didj further extending the limits and reach of the expanse of the human mind & spirit... I will gladly share & enlighten anyone on this topic free of charge save your attention and good intention...
Zack from Australia As a wiccan Koorie I always settle my "space" before I meditate or do any spiritual work with smoke and my didj
