Anonymous Playing by myself All that I can do.
Anonymous from USA Meditation I play the didj to drop myself into deep relaxation for meditation. I set intentions for healing or for what ever the situation is and play the didj holding that intention. For example I set intention for the people of Haiti right after the earth quake then played holding that intention. The didj takes me to altered states of consciousness. As an energy healer the didj is a natural extension to that practice. I point the didj towards people’s bodies with intentions. I had an experience with my husband. He had been standing on a cement floor for three days at a trade show. He came home really hurting in his hip an area of old injury. I did a little Reiki on him then picked up my didge and pointed it to the area playing feeling a lot of resistance but kept at it till it lessened. Then told him to imagine his leg being a hose with a faucet at the bottom of his feet then I moved the energy down his legs and told him to open the faucet and let the energy drain out his foot. He did and was amazed. He said if felt like sludge was moving down his leg. I believe the didj is what really facilitate that energy movement. When I play the didj it’s like I’'m home and second nature. Sometimes I pick it up to practice circular breathing other times I pick it up to play for the fun of it. Wanted to add for one of the above while I can play out the sides of my mouth it isn'’t as comfortable or as easy to do as straight and the left side is a little weaker than the right.
Anonymous from France Relaxation Because I'm quite stressed in my life and I really feel better during and after playing so I also can feel relaxed playing with friends
