NT music industry mourns band leader's death

Extract from Australian Broadcasting Corporation - ABC Online, on 19 Sep 2002.

The music industry is mourning the death of the leader of the Letterstick
Band from Arnhem Land.

The man, who cannot be named for cultural reasons, was killed in a car
rollover in Maningrida on Monday.

Several other band members were injured in the crash.

The Letterstick Band won the Deadly Sounds national indigenous band of the
year award in 2001.
