Anonymous Never Never These people are close to nature and their family members.
Deborah from USA Never Never I think they have an interesting life style and at one point would like to meet one. for the time being I will just have to know what I know about them which isn't much

Jon from USA 1 10+ Friendly and helpful like most Australians I have met. My perception before I came to Australia was that of a people due to the harshness of the continent were closely in tune with nature. I haven't had a chance to meet many people out of the major cities yet so I hope to learn more as I continue my travels.
Terry from United Kingdom Never Never Although my Cousin has lived in Australia Melbourne area for many years I have never been to visit. I am sure it would be a unique experience to meet some of the Aboriginal People I believe the ( now modern people ) can learn a lot from them their respect for all natural things animals the Earth itself. Unfortunately as with other Natural People they have been persecuted in untold ways but that is how it is with so called human beings and how we treat each other and although I have never met an Aborigine it would not be a problem ultimately inside we are all the same. And I have great respect for people who survive such bad treatment may they go on to better things now that they are getting a bit better deal.
Barbara from USA Never Never Very agreeable with a sense of humor & a lot of patience.
Jamie from USA Never 5-6 Warm friendly
Connie from USA Never Never My son was in Australia and New Zealand as a student ambassador some years ago. He came back with a lot of knowledge about the aboriginal people even staying with them overnight and watching some of their rituals.
Ray from Australia Aus 10+ The indigenous peoples I have had contact with have been very polite and are always ready to give advice on didge playing.
Anonymous Aus 10+ Contemplative earth spirits gentle

Anonymous from USA Never Never They are very unique and interesting people. I don't know much about them only that they are indigenous people native to Australia.
Jason Cook from USA Never Never I have never met any aboriginal people in person but their art and music are excellent in the simplicity and complex undertones.
Anonymous Never Never I don't know much about them but they seem mystical and amazing to me.
Anonymous Never 2 The few times I have ever met an Aboriginal person have always left me with a wonderful impression of their culture. They are a warm and very inviting people willing to share their views and thoughts openly.
Shaun from United Kingdom 1 Never Not really applicable now but in 1967 when I was there as a child Aboriginal people were considered more as second class citizens.
Anonymous Aus 3 Kind with an amazing spirit
Daniel from Sweden Never 2 The people I met have been here on the other side of the earth. But they have a lot to give and opens fantastic worlds
Tomasz from Poland 1 Never The only Aboriginal people I have seen were in Alice Springs and I strongly do not believe that these were representative of the vast majority. So I am still hoping to one day meet with true Aborigine
Anonymous from USA Never Never They have been treated very unfairly and the destruction of their native environment is shameful
Anonymous Never 1 They are very quite at first but they are friendly. I have a great deal of respect for them and their morals.
Oliver from Canada Never Never Down to earth great wisdom!!they just look awesome
Anonymous from Australia Aus 7-8 They appear to be very grounded and have a lot to offer in being still and connected to the earth
Joel Dressel from USA Never Never I have always found them fascinating. My first memory of Australian Aboriginal people was from the movie "Crocodile Dundee" when I was a kid.
Robert from Canada Never Never If they are anything like our Canadian Aboriginals they have to fight the government for everything. I have a lot of respect for them.

Mark Sweeney from USA 10+ 10+ They are keeping there culture alive and entertaining tourist
Steve McCarthy from Australia Aus 10+ They vary as much or more than any race in every aspect of life. They can't be categorised.
Anonymous Never Never In my opinion they are impressive and living beyond time. know the secrets of earth and life
David Carmichael from USA Never 2 Open and willing to discuss a range of cultural and environmental issues. Still care deeply about the land much as our Native Americans in the US do. Have persevered through similar sorts of colonial genocide too. Remarkable and resilient.
Anonymous from United Kingdom Never Never A race of people who in the past and to some degree now have through no fault of they're own been discriminated against a lot. people who are proud of they're culture and customs.
Joshua from USA Never Never I don't know much about aborigines. The culture seems interesting and somewhat tribal although perhaps also somewhat lost in today's world where they are only a small group of people.
Luke Pena from USA Never Never I honestly don't hear much about them which I think is a shame. I've recently started on my own experiment to learn about the music of other cultures and so I've begun my own research into cultures like theirs. What little I know about them makes it seem like they've taken a beating from Western culture much like many other similar cultures have.
Colin from USA Never Never I've never met any aboriginal people but I am a Fire dancer and I play the didgeridoo I have a great respect for their art forms and culture.
Riccardo from Italy 2 2 People who want to stay apart. Exception for whom living with some art link with "white" people.
June from USA Never Never Mostly from the film "Rabbit Proof Fence" and Robyn Davidsons book "Tracks". I live quite far away from Australia but would love to visit. I am so glad that I have learned about the Didgeridoo and look forward to learning to play.
Anonymous Never Never Great culture and sad history
